Job Overview:
One of North America’s signature sparkling beverage brands is looking for an experienced and motivated Bookkeeping Clerk. to help drive its high double-digit growth trajectory. With accountability for the rapidly expanding Manitoba-based bottling plant located at 45137, MB 210, Marchand, RM La Broquerie, Manitoba. As a Bookkeeper Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, aiding in accounts receivable and payable, and ensuring seamless financial transactions that underlie our business’s success. Core Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in maintaining financial records and documents
Perform data entry tasks to update financial information
Prepare and process invoices and receipts
Help reconcile bank statements
Support in the management of accounts payable and receivable
Organize and maintain financial filing systems
Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies
Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role
Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or ERP System
Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards an asset but not a requirement
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Strong attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience: minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role supporting a team of leaders, ideally within a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Must respond to English verbal and written instructions promptly and accurately
Must be able to proactively problem-solve and carry out detailed instructions to deal with problems
Must be able to deal effectively with a variety of personalities and situations requiring confidentiality, tact, judgement, and poise
Must have Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills to include Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
Must have at least 2 years of SAP experience
Must have strong organizational and attention to detail skills
Must be able to pivot and adapt to changing priorities
