Full job description

We're growing again! Trinity Energy Group is currently seeking a self-motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a Carpenter in Stellarton, Nova Scotia. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience. We're looking for someone who can maintain expected production deadlines and follow/establish work order specifications. Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in interior/exterior renovations.
Knowledge of construction, building and renovation industries.
Proficiency in window, door, and siding installation, interior/exterior framing, and decking.
Ability to understand drawings and specifications.
Strong knowledge of building envelope elements and how they contribute to efficient and watertight buildings.
Comfortable working at heights is a must
Must provide own pouch and hand tools
Excellent communication skills.

Other considerations and requirements:

Experience with post and beam construction is considered an asset.
Fall protection and lift tickets are considered an asset
Light drywall experience will be considered an asset.
Hours will fluctuate (fulltime + additional)
Criminal record check & child abuse registry check must be provided upon hiring.
Copy of your valid driver’s license and clean driver abstract must be provided upon hiring.
Own transportation to and from our Stellarton office and local job site is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$36.00 per hour
