JOB SUMMARY
Primary duties of this position are to assist in the packaging and processing of shipments.
COMPENSATION
$20.00 per hour plus benefits.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verifying every picking ticket matches the order number on the box.
- Maintain an organized shipping environment
- Keep shipments on schedule
- Good communication skills and quick responses to other departments.
- Very efficient in UPS, FedEx, Purolator, & Loomis software
- Understanding of commercial invoices
- Understanding of Freight Orders
- Package industrial electronics and related components for shipment
May be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned.
METRICS
- Package Handling - Employee must maintain standard processing procedures that assure accuracy, while adjusting the volume of work.
- Processing counts are measured and checked for accuracy against standard. Employee must continue to maintain accuracy throughout the month for the bonus program.
- Employee will be evaluated on the accuracy of the orders processed and his/her performance level as measured against volume demand.

Not applicable. This position has no direct reports.

EMPLOYEE EVALUATION SUMMARY
Introductory Review
- - Will be written at approximately 80 days after employment and will be used to determine whether employment will continue
- Monthly reviews – Employee will be given a brief written monthly review primarily focused on quantitative performance and measurement of activity.
- Annual Reviews – Monthly reviews will factor in as a big part of this process along with attendance, job knowledge, overall performance and dependability.
WORK SCHEDULE
This is an hourly position. The schedule for this position is 9:00AM – 6:00PM, Monday through Friday with one hour for lunch. Employee is expected to come to work on time and adhere to accepted time-off policies. Employee is required to be available for additional time as needed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The environment is a shipping area. Dress attire is casual but professional in a shipping setting. All employees are required to wear “Radwear” (apparel with company logo) at all times once the initial supply (at company expense) has been received. Closed-toe shoes must be worn.
