Full job description

Our client, a rapidly growing environmental services company is currently hiring dependable and hardworking Garbage Truck Loaders for our Stoney Creek location. This is a physically active, fast-paced role working alongside drivers to support residential and commercial waste collection operations.

If you enjoy hands-on work, staying active, and being part of a strong team environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

Load and unload waste and recycling materials safely and efficiently
Work alongside drivers on daily collection routes
Lift, move, and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs or more
Maintain productivity in a fast-paced outdoor environment
Follow all company health and safety procedures
Assist with keeping work areas clean and organized
Support overall route efficiency and customer service standards

Qualifications

Physically capable of repetitive lifting, bending, and standing throughout the shift
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Previous labour, warehouse, construction, landscaping, or waste/recycling experience is considered an asset
Forklift or truck-related experience is beneficial but not required
