The Assistant Store Manager, Customer Experience & Wellness will oversee the daily execution of front-end operations, customer service standards, nutrition and supplement education, demonstrations, and customer engagement throughout the store. This role will serve as a key knowledge leader within the store, helping customers and team members navigate wellness, supplements, and healthy living products with confidence.
This role will play a critical part in developing product knowledge across the customer facing team, improving service consistency, supporting wellness education, and creating a highly engaging and hospitality driven customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee customer service operations including front end service, customer engagement, demonstrations, product education, and overall customer experience throughout the store
- Serve as a key nutrition, supplement, and wellness resource for both customers and team members throughout the store
- Train, coach, and develop team members on customer service standards, supplement knowledge, wellness trends, selling skills, hospitality, and customer interaction expectations
- Create structure and accountability around service execution to improve consistency, customer satisfaction, and team engagement
- Support labour planning and workflow management to ensure labour is aligned effectively to customer traffic, service expectations, and operational priorities
- Monitor service standards and customer interactions while identifying opportunities to improve customer experience and team effectiveness
- Lead product knowledge initiatives related to supplements, wellness products, healthy living, and featured promotional items
- Support and oversee in store demonstrations, sampling programs, vendor events, and customer education initiatives
- Ensure front end presentation, merchandising, cleanliness, signage, and customer facing areas remain organized, welcoming, and operationally effective
- Work closely with Store Leadership and the Assistant Store Manager, Replenishment to ensure alignment between customer experience and operational execution
- Reinforce company standards related to customer service, health and safety, food safety, operational procedures, and store presentation
- Manager on Duty responsibilities required
Qualifications
- Certified Nutritionist, Registered Holistic Nutritionist, or equivalent education and experience in nutrition, wellness, supplements, or natural health required
- Previous retail leadership experience required, preferably in grocery, food retail, wellness, hospitality, or customer focused retail environments
- Strong understanding of supplements, wellness products, nutrition, customer engagement, demonstrations, and service focused retail environments
- Proven ability to train, coach, and develop teams in customer service and product knowledge
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to improve customer experience and lead service focused teams effectively
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with retail systems, scheduling platforms, and customer service operations considered an asset
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
