This role will cover the Hamilton, Niagara Falls and St Catherine's regions - candidates need to be based out of Hamilton.

Job Summary

MagGas Home Care is currently recruiting for highly energetic and motivated Regulated Healthcare Professionals (RRT). The RHP will be required to:

Provide respiratory services with a focus on home oxygen therapy. This will include thorough respiratory assessments, application of non-invasive ventilatory support and other respiratory devices.
Have an understanding of the ADP requirements to meet Ministry of Health criteria for Home Oxygen.
Conducts appropriate follow-up to clients to evaluate effectiveness of treatment plans, comfort and compliance to therapy.
Collaborate with referring physicians and healthcare professionals following best practices to ensure optimal care and safety.
Evaluate the client's home environment for safety, address areas of concern, and perform equipment quality control checks.
Troubleshoot escalated client concerns referred by the Patient Care Coordinator, ensuring thorough and proper resolution.
Contributes to the growth of MagGas Medical by participating in demonstration/education of products and services as needed.

RHP Qualifications

Registered Respiratory Therapist with no limitations to practice under their respective provincial governing body.
Valid driver’s license
Clear vulnerable persons check
Working knowledge of Microsoft, Google applications and Android
COVID Vaccination (2 doses)

MagGas Medical has detailed COVID-19 policy and procedures. We take the safety of our staff and patients very seriously. Appropriate vaccination is required as we service high-risk patients.

Schedule

8 hour days
Monday to Friday
Participate in on call rotation
