Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, component replacements, and performance testing on diesel internal combustion engines, including starting, steering, and braking systems.
Diagnose and service drivetrain components such as clutches, hydraulic couplings, transmissions, transfer cases, and axle assemblies.
Inspect, repair, and reassemble suspension systems, structural frames, wheels, and track systems.
Maintain and repair auxiliary equipment including winches, power take-offs (PTOs), hydraulic pumps, booms, cables, blades, and buckets.
Service and overhaul electrical systems and components such as alternators, distributors, starters, relays, and solenoids.
Review and apply manufacturer technical documentation to ensure compliance with specifications and warranty standards.
Carry out additional related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Certified Alberta Heavy Duty Technician (Red Seal designation considered an asset).
Demonstrated enthusiasm and commitment to the heavy equipment trade.
Valid driver’s license.
Strong mechanical aptitude with good hand–eye coordination and physical endurance.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-based work environment.

$1,500 Signing Bonus – Conditions Apply
