Full job description

We are expanding our team at Imagine Children's Dentistry. We are looking for a licensed, level II dental assistant, who will primarily responsible for front desk duties. New assistants are welcome to apply. The ideal candidate is someone who is personable and can develop a relationship with our patients and parents. The role is full-time, weekdays only, from 8am-5pm, and finish at 3pm on Fridays. Our office is a single practitioner with a small, collaborative, friendly team.

Skills:

Positive disposition, making patients feel welcome
experience in dental reception and dental assisting roles
Tracker experience is an asset
Ability to multi-task, while providing excellent customer service in a busy office
Decisive
Excellent written and communication skills with patients and referring offices
Confidence when discussing treatment payments
Efficient in chair side assisting
Multilingual is a benefit

Duties:

Assisting chair side for restorative/ dental polishing and receptionist duties split throughout the week
Book, confirm, and schedule appointments, while also managing changes to the schedule
Optimize daily schedule, ensuring full days, limiting gaps
Collect payments and submit insurance claims
Process referral letters and other patient correspondence
