Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Shuttle Bus Driver to transport passengers safely and efficiently between designated locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a good understanding of vehicle maintenance, and excellent customer service abilities. This role is essential in ensuring smooth transit operations and providing a positive experience for all passengers.

Duties

Operate shuttle buses along predetermined routes, adhering to schedules and traffic laws
Ensure passenger safety by following all safety protocols and driving regulations
Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, including those with mobility challenges
Conduct routine vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
Perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and cleaning the vehicle
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and passengers to provide updates or address concerns
Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents during shifts
Report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure timely repairs and safety compliance

Requirements

Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with passenger endorsement preferred; if not, willingness to obtain required licensing
Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
Fluency in English for effective communication with passengers and team members
Proven customer service skills to ensure a positive passenger experience
Strong communication skills for clear interactions with passengers, dispatchers, and team members
Experience in commercial driving or operating large vehicles is highly desirable
Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure and handle diverse passenger needs effectively
Good physical condition to assist with boarding procedures and perform routine vehicle inspections
