Overview
Almond Nail Bar at the River District is seeking a friendly and organized receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for clients, manage appointments, and provide exceptional customer service in a professional salon environment. This role requires strong administrative skills, multitasking abilities, and a welcoming personality to ensure a positive experience for all clients.

Duties

Greet and check-in clients through Phorest booking system
Provide information about the salon to clients such as service explanation, pricing, upgrade options, etc.
Manage appointment scheduling using Phorest and maintain the salon calendar
Answer phone calls promptly and professionally, providing information and scheduling appointments
Process payments and handle cash register operations
Provide administrative assistance to other nail technicians when needed
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times

Qualifications

Professional and effective communication skills
Previous experience with a nail salon is a plus
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Must be team-oriented
Exceptional customer service skills with friendly attitude and good phone etiquette
Be able to handle a fast-paced and client-oriented environment
