Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Meat Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in meat preparation and butchery. This role involves preparing, cutting, and packaging meat products while ensuring food safety standards are maintained. The Meat Cutter will play a vital role in providing high-quality products and excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.No experience required.

Responsibilities

Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to specified standards and customer preferences
Ensure all meat products are handled safely and hygienically, adhering to food safety regulations
Package meat products efficiently for retail display or wholesale distribution
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and equipment
Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and reporting shortages or quality issues
Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering product recommendations when needed
Follow all safety protocols during food handling and equipment operation to prevent accidents or contamination

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry, especially in meat cutting or butchery, is preferred
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to operate knives, saws, and other butchery tools safely and efficiently
Strong attention to detail and precision in food preparation
Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads as required
Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
Kitchen experience or background in food preparation is a plus
