Full job description

The Role:

Applicants for the Sales Assistant position are receptive to direction and feedback, demonstrates professionalism in all interactions and has strong attention to detail. This is a part-time, hourly position with weekday hours and occasional weekend shifts (depending on applicant’s availability), from 11:00am to 5:00pm. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or build their career in the real estate or real estate development industry or someone who is available to work during the daytime and is looking for a part-time position with a consistent schedule.

You’ll be part of an amazing team working at our Sales Centres, collaborating closely with our on-site Sales Teams and with our Head Office Sales Administration and Marketing team. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager and Sales Administration team, you’ll play an important role in supporting and contributing to the overall success of our projects.

The Sales Assistant’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Assist with daily opening and closing of the Sales Centre, ensuring all areas are clean, organized and presentable for prospect and realtor viewings.
Complete daily opening and closing duties including setting up display suites, cleaning, inflating balloons and setting up A-Boards.
Greet and assist prospects, realtors, homeowners and other visitors, providing a professional, welcoming and outstanding front-line customer experience.
Answer and return phone calls in a welcoming and professional manner.
Support the Sales Team in day-to-day operations and smooth functioning of the Sales Centre.
Conduct deficiency walk-throughs of available homes to identify, document and report deficiencies.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure deficiencies are communicated, identified and addressed in a timely manner.
Assist in preparation, coordination and support of any other sales and marketing items as needed requested by the Head Office Sales and Marketing team.
Perform administrative and operational duties to support the Sales Team.
Additional duties as required

Qualifications/Requirements:

Strong work ethic, attention to detail, accountability and punctuality
Willingness to learn, take initiative and take on new responsibilities
Proficient in computer skills, especially all MS Office programs (ie. Word and Excel)
Additional languages such as Korean, Mandarin, or Cantonese are an asset

Location: Burnaby / Coquitlam (at our Sale Centre's)

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 24.0 per week
