Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment while assisting with food preparation to ensure smooth restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong attention to food safety, and previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Duties

Responsible for cleaning dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold sanitation standards
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning meals
Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and ensuring timely delivery of dishes
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including counters, prep stations, and storage spaces
Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures at all times
Assist with restocking supplies and organizing kitchen inventory as needed
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service and uphold quality standards

Requirements

Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred but not mandatory
Knowledge of food handling safety and sanitation practices
Ability to perform basic cooking and meal preparation tasks
Strong understanding of serving protocols and customer service principles
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends as needed
