Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and complete mise en place to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
- Execute recipes and cooking techniques according to Stock Yard Kitchen standards.
- Understand timing and execution of each dish to deliver a consistent guest experience.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, seasonal features, and preparation procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper food storage throughout the kitchen.
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control meet our standards.
- Assist with inventory management, stocking, and organization.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver timely, high-quality service.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Support the Kitchen Manager and Supervisors with prep, service, and closing duties as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Prep Cook or Line Cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to food safety, consistency, and delivering a great guest experience.
- A positive attitude and a desire to learn and grow with the team.
