Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Chiropractic Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth daily operations within the chiropractic practice, providing excellent patient service, and supporting the clinical staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology and a passion for helping others in a healthcare setting. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the medical field while contributing to patient care and office efficiency.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures
Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar efficiently
Collect patient information and update health records accurately
Verify insurance details and process billing as needed
Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
Prepare exam rooms and assist with administrative tasks to support clinical staff
Maintain a clean and organized reception area and office environment
Ensure compliance with healthcare privacy regulations and office policies
Assist with patient education materials and follow-up communications

Skills

Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately interpret clinical notes and communicate effectively with staff and patients
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for managing schedules, records, and billing processes
Exceptional communication skills to provide outstanding customer service and facilitate clear interactions with patients and team members
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
Compassionate attitude with a focus on patient care and confidentiality

This role is ideal for individuals interested in healthcare administration or pursuing a career in medical fields. Candidates should be dependable, personable, and eager to learn. Prior experience in a medical office is preferred but not required.

Pay: $19.00-$26.00 per hour
