Tortoise & Hare Restaurant — located inside Central Park Athletics, Windsor, Ontario

About Us

Tortoise & Hare (T&H) is a state-of-the-art restaurant located within Central Park Athletics (CPA), Southwestern Ontario's largest and most progressive sports and recreation facility.

What You'll Do

Prep and cook menu items to recipe, portion, and presentation standards
Set up, restock, and break down your station each shift
Prepare dishes safely for guests with allergies and intolerances, following our allergen procedures
Keep your station, equipment, coolers, and storage areas clean and organized to food safety standards
Work with the rest of the kitchen and facility team to keep service moving through peak periods

What We're Looking For

Minimum of 3 years of cooking experience in a restaurant, catering, or other high-volume kitchen
Working knowledge of safe food handling, sanitation, and portion control
Reliable attendance and clear, respectful communication with teammates
Available to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Standing for extended periods and lifting kitchen supplies weighing up to approximately 50 lbs.
Legally entitled to work in Canada
Food Handler Certificate completed prior to your first shift
A Criminal Record Check is required before your first shift, at your own cost. We reimburse the fee once you’ve completed 90 calendar days of employment with us.
Adhere to the no-smoking or vaping policy on T&H/CPA property
