Description du poste

Karmakarah Technology est à la recherche d’un Technicien Service Desk motivé pour rejoindre notre équipe à Montréal. Ce poste en présentiel s’adresse à un professionnel du soutien technique qui se distingue par son sens du service à la clientèle, sa rigueur en dépannage et sa capacité à résoudre les incidents efficacement. Vous travaillerez dans un environnement collaboratif où l’expertise technique et la communication professionnelle sont essentielles.

Responsabilités principales

1. Gestion des incidents et des demandes

Recevoir, consigner, catégoriser et prioriser les incidents et demandes de service.
Offrir un soutien technique de premier niveau (chat, téléphone et en personne).
Assurer le suivi complet des billets selon les niveaux de service établis (SLA).
Effectuer les escalades nécessaires selon les procédures en vigueur.

2. Soutien aux utilisateurs et expérience client

Fournir un soutien professionnel en personne au Tech Café.
Offrir formation, coaching et accompagnement aux employés sur les applications et l’équipement TI.
Communiquer clairement, quel que soit le niveau technique de l’utilisateur.

3. Gestion des actifs TI

Participer au cycle de vie complet de l’équipement informatique (portables, tablettes, accessoires, téléphones).
Gérer l’attribution de l’équipement pour les nouveaux employés et la récupération lors des départs.
Maintenir à jour les données d’inventaire.

4. Gestion des connaissances et amélioration continue

Documenter les solutions et mettre à jour la base de connaissances.
Contribuer à l’amélioration continue des services TI.
Participer aux réunions de coordination et collaborer avec les équipes internes.

Exigences

Expérience

3 à 7 ans d’expérience en soutien technique ou au service desk, ou toute combinaison équivalente.

Formation

Diplôme ou certificat en systèmes informatiques, soutien TI ou domaine connexe.

Compétences

Fort sens du service à la clientèle et excellentes aptitudes interpersonnelles.
Connaissance des bonnes pratiques ITIL.
Maîtrise des environnements Windows, des appareils mobiles et des applications courantes.
Bonne compréhension des notions de réseau et des outils de gestion de services TI.
Excellentes capacités d’analyse et de résolution de problèmes.
Excellente communication orale et écrite.
Capacité à rédiger procédures, documents techniques et rapports.

Langues

Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, à l’oral comme à l’écrit.

About the Role

Karmakarah Technology is seeking a dedicated Service Desk Technician to join our team in Montréal. This in-person role is ideal for a motivated IT support professional who excels in customer service, troubleshooting, and efficient incident resolution. You will be part of a collaborative environment where technical expertise, communication, and professionalism are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

1. Incident and Request Management

Receive, log, categorize, and prioritize incidents and service requests.
Provide first-line technical troubleshooting across chat, phone, and in-person channels.
Ensure accurate follow-up and resolution of tickets in accordance with defined SLAs.
Escalate issues when necessary using established procedures.

2. User Support & Customer Experience

Deliver in-person support at the Tech Café and maintain a high standard of user experience.
Provide guidance, training, and coaching to employees on applications and IT equipment.
Communicate clearly and professionally with users at varying technical levels.

3. IT Asset Management

Support the full lifecycle of IT equipment (laptops, tablets, peripherals, phones, etc.).
Manage device assignment for new hires and recover equipment during offboarding.
Maintain accurate equipment inventory records.

4. Knowledge Management & Continuous Improvement

Document solutions and maintain knowledge base articles.
Participate in process enhancements and contribute to the continuous improvement of IT services.
Collaborate with colleagues and represent the team in required coordination meetings.

Requirements

Experience

3 to 7 years of professional experience in service desk support or equivalent technical support functions.

Education

Diploma or certificate in computer systems, IT support, or an equivalent field.

Skills & Competencies

Strong customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of ITIL best practices (incident management, request fulfillment, continuous improvement).
Proficiency with Windows operating systems, desktop and mobile devices, and common business applications.
Understanding of network fundamentals and IT service management tools.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Ability to create clear procedures and technical documentation.

Languages

Fluency in English and French, spoken and written

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
