Full job description

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Assistant to join our team for the summer with the potential for full-time or casual hours in September. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and providing a safe and nurturing environment for their growth and development. Duties: - Engage children in age-appropriate activities to stimulate their physical, emotional, and intellectual growth - Create a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and play - Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime - Maintain cleanliness and organization of childcare areas - Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns Requirements: - Previous experience in caregiving or early childhood education preferred - Knowledge of classroom management techniques - Ability to work well with children of varying ages - Strong communication skills to interact with both children and parents - Willingness to educate children through play-based learning Nice-to-Have Skills: - Caregiving experience - Background in early childhood education - Classroom management skills - Experience working with children of different age groups - Passion for educating young minds This position offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children while gaining valuable experience in childcare and early childhood education.
