Your responsibilities as a dishwasher will include but are not limited to, the following.

Depending on the requirement, wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and / or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
Ensure all items are properly cleaned, sanitized, and dried before storage or reuse.
Sort and stack clean dishes in appropriate storage areas.
Empty and clean trash cans regularly.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas, including floors, walls, and equipment.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, such as peeling vegetables or portioning ingredients.
Follow proper sanitation and safety procedures at all times.
Dispose of kitchen waste in designated receptacles.
All sinks must be sanitized at the end of the night
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient flow of dishwashing and kitchen operations.
Report any maintenance or repair needs to management promptly.
Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
Follow instructions from kitchen supervisors or managers.
Any other responsibilities connected and ancillary to the job function assigned by the supervisor/manager.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience working as a dishwasher in a restaurant or similar environment is a plus.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Reliable and punctual.
Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
