Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong kitchen skills, and a commitment to food safety standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your culinary skills and grow within the food service industry.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assist in food preparation according to recipes and standards
Cook menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and timing
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
Assist with plating dishes for service, ensuring consistency and visual appeal
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene
Support the kitchen team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including sanitation standards

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred but not required
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
Strong understanding of meal preparation and food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Passion for delivering exceptional customer service through quality food presentation
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
