NOW HIRING

Deck Person / Top Person — Water & Sewer

GOA Paving is looking for a reliable, hardworking Deck Person / Top Person to join our underground construction crews. This role supports the pipe crew and equipment operators during watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and site servicing work.

Responsibilities

Support pipelayers and excavation crews.
Move, organize, and stage pipes, fittings, tools, and materials.
Guide equipment and communicate with operators and crew.
Maintain awareness around trenches, equipment, and traffic.
Assist with pipe installation, trench preparation, backfilling, and general site work.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
Follow all company and health & safety requirements.
Report safety concerns immediately.

Requirements

Civil construction, water/sewer, excavation, or underground experience is an asset.
Comfortable working outdoors around heavy equipment and open trenches.
Good communication skills and ability to follow direction.
Safety-conscious, reliable, and organized.
Physically able to perform manual labour.
Working at Heights certification is an asset.
Willing to travel for work.
