Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a positive experience for all patrons. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS.
Take customer orders with professionalism and attentiveness, ensuring timely service.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards.
Ensure responsible serving by monitoring guest alcohol consumption in accordance with food safety regulations.
Restock bar supplies as needed and assist in inventory management.
Engage with customers to create a welcoming environment, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
Follow all food industry regulations related to serving, food safety, and hospitality standards.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing tabs accurately.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for hospitality settings. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences through quality service and hospitality expertise.

Pay: $17.20-$30.36 per hour
