Job Description:
1. Responsible for ensuring the Security team delivers an excellent customer service environment.
2. Follow up and solve customer/client concerns and queries as well as make recommendations to improve security policies.
3. Supervise the Security staff assigned to the site detail and act as a resource for Security issues in accordance with PSG Policy and Procedure. Ensure guidelines and standards for security staff are adhered to.
4. Maintain and enforce all Paladin and Client policies and procedures on site and ensure the highest standard of our security program on site. For example, dress and deportment, quality of reports, mentoring, etc.
5. Ensure all reports are completed and each Officer submits complete and accurate daily reports and incident reports. Follow up with inaccuracies or omissions. Review all site Incident Reports and escalate incidents as required on Tracktik.
6. Compile accurate statistics and complete audits.
7. Liaise with multiple tenant and Client Representatives, while representing both the Paladin Security with the utmost professionalism.
8. Conduct site orientation and training of new officers, ensuring site orientation packages and officer review tests are completed within the allotted training period. Monitor performance and behavior of officers and document/discipline staff where standards are not being met.
9. Accept after-hours’ phone calls and will be the site officer’s first point of contact.
10. Will arrange coverage for any open shifts due to last minute book offs, medical emergencies, etc.
11.To ensure all accidents are reported in a timely manner. As well as attend OH&S meetings with Hudson Pacific Management.
12. Maintain accurate tenant and card reader records in Lenel software including cancelation and activation of access cards.
13.Conduct investigations and Risk Assessments.
14. Perform other duties as required and/or requested
Requirements:
- Preferred 1 year of supervisory security experience or a combination of relevant experience and education; including successful completion of Paladin Supervisor Training or the willingness to complete said training.
- Diploma in Police Foundations, Protection Security & Investigations, Border Services, or Criminology is preferred
- Valid First Aid and CPR Level C Certification
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- 2 Step TB Skin Test
- Proof of double COVID-19 Vaccination
- Proficient in English, both written and oral
