About Us

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other administrative accounting tasks.

Responsibilities

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Prepare invoices and reconcile customer accounts
Perform credit card reconciliations
Enter financial data accurately into accounting software
Assist with payroll processing, as required
Maintain organized financial records and documentation
Support quarter-end and year-end closing procedures
Respond to internal and external accounting inquiries
Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

Certificate, diploma, or experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field
Previous experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role is preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Sage50 accounting software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
