Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Building Cleaner to join our team in Thunder Bay. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of commercial facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a professional team committed to high standards of cleanliness and facility upkeep.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, lobbies, and common areas
Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and window cleaning to ensure all areas are spotless
Restocking supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms and kitchens
Conduct routine maintenance tasks to keep facilities in optimal condition
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Follow all safety protocols and use cleaning equipment properly to prevent accidents or damage
Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while working independently or as part of a team

Experience

Must have the ability to pass a criminal background check
Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety procedures related to commercial environments is advantageous
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role
Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision while adhering to established standards of cleanliness
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
