Sovereign Dental Kids is seeking a caring, energetic, and enthusiastic Level II Certified Dental Assistant to join our growing pediatric dental team. We are committed to providing exceptional dental care in a fun, welcoming, and child-friendly environment. Key Responsibilities

Assist pediatric dentists during examinations and pediatric dental procedures.
Provide efficient chairside support while maintaining a safe, organized, and sterile clinical environment.
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before and after procedures.
Take and process dental radiographs in accordance with prescribed protocols.
Comfort and support pediatric patients, helping to reduce anxiety and create a positive dental experience.
Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-operative instructions.
Maintain accurate and complete patient records using Open Dental software.
Assist with appointment flow to ensure an efficient and positive patient experience.
Adhere to all infection prevention and control (IPAC), sterilization, and health and safety standards.
Contribute to a positive, supportive, and team-oriented workplace culture.

Qualifications

Level II Dental Assistant Certification (required)
Current HARP Certification (required)
Previous dental assisting experience is preferred; pediatric experience is considered a strong asset.
Experience with Open Dental software is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control protocols.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with children and their families.
Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a positive attitude.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Professional, organized, and committed to delivering outstanding patient care.
