Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of medical office procedures, familiarity with electronic medical records, and excellent communication skills. The Medical Receptionist will play a vital role in maintaining smooth office operations and ensuring a positive patient experience. This position is also responsible for maintaining the clinic’s social media content.

Duties

Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a welcoming environment at the front desk
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow using electronic scheduling systems
Verify patient information and update electronic medical records accurately
Handle multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, confirm appointments, and direct calls appropriately
Collect patient information, process payments, and manage billing documentation
Maintain organized patient files and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
Assist with administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and correspondence
Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate smooth daily operations
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and office policies
Develop and post regular social media content

Qualifications

Prior experience as a Receptionist or Medical Office Assistant preferred
Proficiency in electronic medical records systems is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Experience working with multi-line phone systems in a fast-paced environment
Office experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
Ability to handle front desk responsibilities efficiently while maintaining professionalism and compassion
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Familiarity with administrative tasks related to healthcare offices is advantageous
