EllisDon Facilities Services (EDFS) specializes in infrastructure and asset maintenance, operations, and management. We optimize an asset’s efficiency, in order to maximize lifecycle and minimize costs and we never stop looking for new ways to improve. We service many market sectors healthcare, educational, judicial, residential, hospitality, recreational, and beyond. Our deep understanding of constructability, infrastructure, and technology means we can both operate and maintain assets efficiently and bring in other services to further extend the long-term lifecycle of an asset.

You as an Office Administrator, Facilities Services will:

Report to the General Manager and ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the office

Provide essential support to management, supervisory staff, and other contract personnel.

Be the first point of contact for employees and site visitors while performing reception duties such as answering phones, signing in visitors, directing phone calls and managing other general reception duties

Complete any office administration duties as required including the maintenance of files and ordering of general supplies

Assist with Payroll by submitting timecards and reviewing shift schedules for consistency

Assist with financial management including project billing and invoice coding

Lead on site People & Culture tasks such as posting jobs for hourly roles, assisting with offer letters and onboarding

Contribute to creating a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff and others, working in compliance with EllisDon Facilities Services’ health and safety policies, code of conduct and applicable legislation

Is this the right role for you?

College level education or equivalent
Minimum 2 years related experience in administration, operations and maintenance environment
Experience with finance and accounting functions would be considered an asset
Exceptional computer skills (MS Suite, including Excel)
Ability to work well within a team setting
The salary range for this position is $60,000 – $70,000
