Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform various physical tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and quality of our operations, and it offers an opportunity for those looking to develop their skills in a supportive team setting.

Responsibilities

Perform general labor tasks including loading and unloading materials, digging, lifting, and carrying heavy items.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
Assist in the assembly, installation, or repair of structures or equipment as needed.
Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your teammates.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.

Requirements

Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred but not required.
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is advantageous.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
Must Have a clean driving record.
Must be willing to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
Must be technically inclined and have a desire to learn.
Means to provide or acquire steel toe boots.
Prior experience in telecommunications and/or working in the field independently is an asset.

2+ years in related field
