Key Responsibilities:
- Assist warehouse team with customer projects, inventories, etc.
- Create and maintain strong relationships and communication with customers, verbal communication, e-mail, teams’ meetings, customer issue resolution, inventory balance, etc. will be part of daily customer-facing activities
- Communicate customer requirements to warehouse team
- Prepare and provide required documentation and labels to production floor
- Generate work orders and post production in ERP system
- Generate production reports for customers
- Field customer orders, inquiries and service
- Obtaining and entering customer orders in R4 WMS to facilitate the accurate & timely shipment of customer-owned goods
- Use customer based ERP systems to access order information and PGI orders; examples are SAP, Oracle etc.
- Review receipts from warehouse to ensure accuracy, upon completing of review close receipts, reporting, filing or paperwork
- Assist warehouse manager with inventory maintenance, counts etc. as customer demands
- Maintain accuracy of records through daily, weekly and monthly reporting
- Perform clerical duties, such as filing, generation of customer required reports, maintain up to date customer files
- Provide warehouse team with documents, customer specific labels, lot labels, etc. as required
- Assist warehouse operations with product set-up requirements
- May be required to assist at other sites when determined by business needs
- Other related duties as required or assigned
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong computer skills and ability to operate within Microsoft Office suite of products, and other computer systems.
- Proven ability to multitask on customer provided ERP systems such as SAP, D365, Oracle, etc.
- Very strong attention to detail, strong decision making skills and adaptability
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and tight timelines in a professional manner
- Effective communication skills to interact with external customers and individuals at all levels of the organization
- Able to work efficiently as part of the team as well as independently
- Ability to use general office equipment
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Related manufacturing/industrial customer service/shipping/receiving work experience, or related experience, of 3 – 5 years required
Working Conditions:
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
- Overtime as required
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals,
- Physical & Mental dexterity to be able to handle extended periods at desk
- Physical & Mental dexterity to be able to work within the warehouse as required
- Travel to other sites may be required
