Accountant and Office Manager
Sylvite’s Agri division/Nu- Tec packaging is seeking an Accountant and Office Manager for our packaging plant located in Putnam, Ontario.

About the Role
At our Putnam plant, the Nu-Tec Specialty Products Division is looking for an Accountant & Office Manager to play a key role in connecting finance, business operations, and people. This position ensures the accounting and administrative functions run smoothly while supporting the plant’s ability to package and ship products on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency.
What You'll Do
Key aspects of the role include:
· Financial Reporting & Compliance: Manage month-end/year-end close, consolidated financial statements, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, tax filings, audits, and internal controls.
· Financial Analysis & Business Planning: Analyze financial performance, budgets, sales, and profitability; provide insights and recommendations to management to improve business performance.
· Cash & Treasury Management: Oversee cash flow, bank reconciliations, payment approvals, cash forecasts, and related AR/AP activities.
· Operations & Team Leadership: Oversee office administration and coordinate CSR, AR, and AP functions, ensuring effective workflows, communication, accuracy, and service levels.
· Risk & Strategic Business Support: Manage insurance renewals, review contracts, support acquisitions and growth initiatives, strengthen operational controls, and lead process improvement projects.
About You
- Advanced Excel Knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ross or similar software
· Attention to Detail / Accuracy
· Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment, reprioritizing as needed
· 5+ years in Accounting/Office Management

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Office management: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
