Full job description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Roofing Labourer to support our roofing crew with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and/or commercial roofs. This is a physically demanding role that requires working at heights and in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist roofers with installing and repairing roofing systems
Remove old roofing materials and dispose of debris safely
Load and unload roofing materials and equipment
Carry shingles and supplies to work areas
Set up ladders, scaffolding, and safety equipment
Clean and prepare job sites before and after work
Follow directions from crew leaders and supervisors
Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

Previous construction or roofing experience is an asset, but not required
Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting, climbing, bending)
Comfortable working at heights
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Reliable and punctual
Ability to work well in a team environment
Valid driver’s license (preferred)

Working Conditions:

Outdoor work in all weather conditions
Heavy lifting (50+ lbs), repetitive movement
Working on ladders and roofs at heights

Compensation:

Competitive hourly wage based on experience
On-the-job training and advancement potential

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
