Position Overview:

MagGas Medical is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Biomedical Equipment Technician to maintain, repair, and calibrate a wide range of medical equipment. In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring the safety and functionality of our equipment, contributing directly to the well-being of patients and the efficiency of healthcare operations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide support to patients on PAP therapy by troubleshooting common equipment issues and offering guidance over the phone or email.
Respond to a high volume of incoming calls and voicemails, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
Redirect patient inquiries appropriately across clinic locations, departments, or staff members.
Perform administrative duties related to the Sleep Therapy department, including data entry, scheduling follow-ups, and organizing patient files.
Monitor patient progress and therapy compliance through regular follow-ups, and escalate concerns when necessary.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce and other internal systems.
Coordinate with ODSP, OWP, and insurance providers on behalf of patients to obtain necessary approvals or documentation.
Clean and sanitize Sleep Therapy trial equipment to ensure safety and readiness for reuse.
Collaborate with clinicians and team members to ensure continuity of care and support for all active patients.
Review and assign patient resupply needs or inquiries to appropriate staff or departments.
Identify and flag patients who require escalated clinical support or virtual appointments.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Strong and effective communication skills and administrative skills
Strong communication skills both written and verbally
Experience with Quickbooks will be an asset
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision as well as part of a team

Regular 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
