CNC Machinist (3 & 4 Axis Vertical Milling) – Aerospace / Precision Shop

Mississauga, ON
Up to $35/hr + 5% Shift Premium + OT + Benefits

Afternoon Shift:

Mon–Thurs: 4:30 PM – 2:00 AM
Fri: 3:15 PM – 7:15 PM

This is a true job shop environment—not production work.

You’ll be machining new, high-precision components for aerospace, nuclear, medical, and defence industries. This role is ideal for a machinist who enjoys setup, problem-solving, and working on complex parts, not just loading parts and pressing cycle start.

What You’ll Be Doing

Set up and operate 3 & 4 axis CNC vertical milling machines
Load and run programs (no programming required)
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Select tooling, set offsets, and make adjustments as needed
Work to tight tolerances in a precision environment
Perform in-process inspections using measuring tools
Run jobs independently while working within a team environment

What You Bring

3+ years CNC machining experience (10+ years for senior-level candidates)
Strong experience with CNC vertical milling (setup + operation)
Experience with Fanuc or Haas controls
Comfortable in a job shop / high-mix environment
Ability to read blueprints and work with precision components
Aerospace or high-precision machining experience is a strong asset
Familiarity with Mastercam is an asset (not required)
