Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commission-Based Service Plumber to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality plumbing services to residential, commercial, and industrial clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, construction experience, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. As a commission-based position, this role offers the opportunity for professional growth and earnings based on performance. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of handling various tools and heavy lifting tasks. Experience in carpentry, HVAC, welding, and power tools is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair plumbing issues in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot plumbing systems according to specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installations
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction tools safely and effectively
Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for plumbing projects
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to client satisfaction
Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or injuries on-site
Assist with related tasks such as carpentry or HVAC work as needed
Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all tools are properly stored after use

Experience

Proven experience in plumbing or related construction fields is required
Knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation is essential
Familiarity with carpentry, HVAC systems, welding, assembly, and the use of hand and power tools is preferred
Prior experience with commercial driving or operating heavy equipment is a plus
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly and work in physically demanding conditions
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for installations and repairs
