Full job description

Ecoline Windows is looking for an organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our Accounting Department on a 1-year contract.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in an accounting and office environment. You will support the Accounting team by maintaining accurate sales, lead, payment, and customer information from Home Depot, Costco, and other sales channels.

Entry-level candidates are welcome. Training will be provided.

What You'll Do

Update and maintain Home Depot and Costco leads, ensuring customer, project, and sales information is accurate and complete.
Enter Home Depot sales orders into the Home Depot system and create initial SFI/down-payment information.
Enter Costco sales orders into the Costco system and verify information against supporting documents.
Upload Home Depot waivers and other required customer/project documentation.
Send new siding leads to the appropriate department or sales representative and maintain accurate distribution records.
Prepare a monthly Home Depot lead report by province for Accounting and management.
Review sales and lead information for missing, duplicate, or inconsistent data.
Follow up with Accounting, Sales, Order Desk, and other departments to obtain missing information or documentation.
Assist with data entry related to customer deposits, payments, reconciliations, and accounting reports.
Enter, review, and update information in the company's accounting/ERP system and third-party portals.
Organize electronic supporting documents so transactions can be easily reviewed and verified.
Maintain confidentiality of customer, financial, and company information.
Provide additional administrative and data-entry support to the Accounting Department as required.

What We're Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent.
Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business, Administration, or a related field is an asset.
Previous data entry, bookkeeping, accounting, or administrative experience is an asset, but not required.
Basic understanding of invoices, payments, sales orders, and financial documents is an asset.
Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and computer-based systems.
Experience with NetSuite or another ERP/accounting system is an asset; training can be provided.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially when working with numbers and customer information.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to complete repetitive tasks accurately while meeting deadlines.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Dependable, professional, and comfortable asking questions when information is incomplete or unclear.
Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
