Overview
We are seeking a creative and passionate Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design and a keen eye for aesthetics, along with excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that meet their needs.
- Manage inventory of flowers and supplies, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system for transactions, including cashiering and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and work areas.
- Engage in merchandising to enhance product displays and promote sales.
- Assist with landscape maintenance as needed for outdoor displays or events.
- Handle e-commerce orders efficiently, ensuring timely delivery or pickup of arrangements.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in floral design or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of horticulture, gardening, and landscape maintenance is a plus.
- Strong retail sales experience with an emphasis on customer service.
- Proficiency in using POS systems for transactions.
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and shop operations effectively.
