Technical Recruiter

100% Onsite - Downtown Toronto, ON

Permanent, Full-time

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Technical Recruiter to join our team in Downtown Toronto, Ontario. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of technical roles, and the ability to work effectively over the phone (OTP) 100% of the time.

Responsibilities

Screen resumes for technical qualifications and cultural fit.
Conduct pre-screening calls and interviews using structured methods.
Perform technical and behavioural assessments during interviews.
Negotiate with candidates on pay, scheduling, and benefits.
Present shortlisted candidates to clients and coordinate interviews.
Update CRM/ATS (applicant tracking systems) based on candidate interviews.
Maintain clear communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Complete background and reference checks on candidates.

Requirements

Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Familiarity with technical roles, skills, and industry trends (e.g., software development, IT).
Proficiency in recruitment tools such as ATS and CRM software.
Ability to work effectively over the phone for candidate screening and communication.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
Citizenship, permanent residency (PR), or open work permit (OWP) eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications

Entry-level candidates or junior professionals are welcome; prior experience in recruitment or HR is a plus.
A basic understanding of technology or technical fields is highly desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
