Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist/Order Desk Clerk to join our team. This role is vital in providing exceptional customer service, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth daily operations at our office & front desk. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills, proficiency with office software, and excellent communication abilities. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where organizational skills and attention to detail are highly valued.

Responsibilities

Manage multi-line phone systems, direct calls, and handle customer inquiries with excellent phone etiquette
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office and Accounting system.
Handle filing, document proofreading, and general administrative support including scheduling appointments and managing calendars
Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using Spire system.
Support order processing and coordinate with warehouse staff.
Provide customer support by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally

Experience

Prior clerical or administrative experience preferred.
Familiarity with office software including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs).
Experience with multi-line phone systems and data entry tasks is essential
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with proper phone etiquette
Ability to proofread documents accurately and maintain high attention to detail
Previous experience in customer service roles is advantageous

Pay: From $17.75 per hour

Work Location: In person
