We are seeking a highly experienced Residential & Hydronic Plumber with a strong background in residential plumbing, heating systems, hydronic piping, equipment installation, renovations, and troubleshooting.
The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with both complete residential plumbing systems and hydronic heating systems and be capable of working independently from layout and rough-in through equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and finishing.
This is a position for an experienced plumber who can take ownership of their work, troubleshoot problems in the field, and consistently deliver high-quality installations.
Key ResponsibilitiesResidential Plumbing
- Complete residential plumbing rough-ins and finishing.
- Install domestic cold and hot water piping.
- Install sanitary, waste, and vent piping.
- Install toilets, sinks, lavatories, showers, tubs, faucets, and other plumbing fixtures.
- Install water heaters and associated piping and equipment.
- Perform plumbing work for new construction, renovations, additions, and retrofit projects.
- Diagnose and repair leaks, drainage issues, water-pressure problems, and other plumbing deficiencies.
- Perform pressure testing and required system testing.
- Read and interpret plumbing drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
Hydronic Heating
- Install and service hydronic heating and cooling piping systems.
- Install boilers, pumps, expansion tanks, air separators, heat exchangers, and related equipment.
- Install and pipe fan coils, radiators, unit heaters, and other hydronic terminal equipment.
- Install and troubleshoot radiant floor heating systems.
- Install hydronic distribution piping, including supply and return mains.
- Install control valves, balancing valves, isolation valves, check valves, strainers, and related accessories.
- Perform system filling, flushing, purging, pressure testing, and air removal.
- Troubleshoot circulation, temperature, flow, air-lock, and system performance issues.
- Understand basic hydronic system operation, including pumps, zoning, temperature control, and system balancing.
- Assist with startup, testing, and commissioning of hydronic systems.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of strong residential and hydronic plumbing experience preferred.
- Ontario 306A Plumber Certificate of Qualification strongly preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience with both residential plumbing and hydronic heating systems.
- Strong understanding of drainage, venting, domestic water, fixtures, and heating piping.
- Experience installing and troubleshooting boilers and hydronic equipment.
- Ability to read plumbing and mechanical drawings.
- Ability to lay out piping and equipment installations accurately.
- Strong understanding of applicable Ontario codes and installation requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems independently and recommend practical solutions.
- Experience with copper, PEX, PVC, ABS, steel, and other commonly used piping systems.
- Valid Ontario driver's licence.
- Ability to safely operate standard plumbing and mechanical tools and equipment.

- Able to coordinate effectively with supervisors and other trades.

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
