Your future duties and responsibilities
As a DevOps Engineer on our team, you will drive key technical initiatives across the business, bridging the gap between software development and infrastructure operations. This role demands hands-on execution, strong technical leadership, and collaborative communication with both internal engineering teams and external partners.
You will design resilient software components, automate CI/CD pipelines, optimize operational workflows, and research next-generation cloud technologies. If you thrive on writing clean code, building automated release pipelines, and maintaining high-availability software platforms, we want to hear from you.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design, code, and unit-test modules and platform components following modern software engineering principles.
- Conduct and participate in peer design, code, and test reviews to guarantee functional efficiency, security compliance, and engineering best practices.
- Perform root-cause analysis on application defects and execute performance tuning to eliminate bottlenecks.
- Own end-to-ed activities across continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), build engineering, release automation, and artifact management.
- Stadardize deployment artifacts and container repositories across multiple environments (Dev, Staging, Production)
- Implement scalable, cost-effective solutions for new initiatives while maintaining operational support for existing platforms.
- Build resilient systems using modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and disaster recovery patterns to achieve high availability.
- Design operational solutions in direct partnership with internal engineering, QA, and security stakeholders.
- Collaborate within a cross-functional team to balance competing priorities, adapt to shifting demands, and cross-train continuously.
- Manage time-sensitive deliverables independently while maintaining transparency in a fast-paced environment.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
2+ years of professional experience in software engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Experience configuring build/release tools (e.g., Jenkins, Github Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Strong proficiency in at least one object-oriented language (Java, Python, Go, or C#) and scripting frameworks (Bash, PowerShell).
- Proven hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, or AKS).
- Deep understanding of declarative provisioning tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Ability to perform deep-dive root-cause analysis, analyze systems performance, and solve complex technical challenges under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate architectural decisions, technical trade-offs, and operational risks.
- Proven capacity to manage changing priorities, navigate ambiguous problems, and maintain composure in incident response scenarios.
- Strong mindset toward delivering cost-effective, client-centric engineering solutions that balance business goals with technical debt.
