We’re excited to welcome guests to our new Japanese steakhouse in the heart of Toronto’s Financial District.

About the Restaurant

Our newly opened Japanese steakhouse is a small, considered restaurant rooted in restraint, precision, and reverence for the craft.

Guided by the principles of Japanese simplicity, we showcase exceptional beef and seasonal ingredients at their purest expression. We believe time is the most valuable ingredient — time to raise, to age, to prepare, to gather, and to savour.

We are currently hiring for an existing position within our growing team.

What You’ll Do

As a Dishwasher, you will support the culinary team in preparing high-quality dishes while maintaining consistency, cleanliness, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities include:

Keep all kitchen work surfaces (counters, sinks, stoves, walls) clean and sanitized
Sweep and mop floors at the beginning and end of shifts
Be ready to clean up spills to avoid hindering operations
Wash cookware, utensils and cutlery fast to keep them in rotation
Arrange equipment and ingredient deliveries
Keep the food and supply storage areas organized
Help with routine food prep tasks (such as peeling and chopping vegetables) when needed
Report hazards, incidents observed and broken items to supervisors or management
Once a kitchen is closed, assist in cleaning to make sure that the kitchen is ready for the next day
Lift and move heavy boxes up to 20kg
Clear used dishes, glasses, and utensils from tables and bring them to the dishwashing area. Restock clean plates, utensils, and glassware as needed.
Assist servers by delivering food and beverages to tables when necessary.
Remove trash and maintain cleanliness in work areas.
Monitor and restock supplies like napkins, condiments, or to-go containers.
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.

What You'll Need:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy items for extended periods.
Prior restaurant experience
Legal eligibility to work in Canada.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
