About this position:

Lundy Levy & Eski Barristers LLP was named as one of Canada’s top litigation boutique law firms specializing civil litigation, that focus on commercial, construction, health law and professional liability.

We are seeking a full-time, entry-level Legal Administrative Assistant to join our downtown Toronto office. This position is ideally suited for a recent graduate or an individual completing a Legal Assistant, Law Clerk, or Paralegal program who is looking to gain valuable experience in a professional legal environment.

The primary focus of this role is supporting the firm's file opening process, ensuring new files are opened accurately and efficiently. The successful candidate will also provide overflow administrative support and assist with general office operations as needed. This is an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in legal administration while learning the day-to-day operations of a busy litigation practice.

As a Legal Administrative Assistant your responsibilities include:

· Assist with file opening, file closing, and billing processes.

· Provide administrative support, including photocopying, scanning, and electronic document management.

· Save, organize, upload, and maintain documents within the firm's document and file management systems.

· Assist with data entry and daily banking activities.

· Coordinate courier services, registered mail, and document deliveries.

· Maintain office and kitchen supplies, including inventory management, purchasing, and restocking.

· Obtain supplier quotations, prepare purchase orders, and liaise with vendors regarding deliveries and inventory issues.

· Provide general office support, including moving files, boxes, furniture, and office materials when required.

· Assist with overflow administrative work, special projects, and other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications:

· Completion or in the process of completing post-secondary Legal Assistant or Law Clerk or Paralegal course.

· Effectively works in a team environment or independently, as the situation requires.

· Demonstrate discretion and effectively manage confidential information.

· Demonstrate sound work ethics.

· Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.

· Professional communication skills and a respectful and honest mindset.
