Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a creative and passionate Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design and a keen eye for aesthetics, along with excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that meet their needs.
Manage inventory of flowers and supplies, ensuring freshness and quality.
Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system for transactions, including cashiering and cash handling.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and work areas.
Engage in merchandising to enhance product displays and promote sales.
Assist with landscape maintenance as needed for outdoor displays or events.
Handle e-commerce orders efficiently, ensuring timely delivery or pickup of arrangements.
Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure satisfaction.

Experience

Previous experience in floral design or a related field is preferred.
Knowledge of horticulture, gardening, and landscape maintenance is a plus.
Strong retail sales experience with an emphasis on customer service.
Proficiency in using POS systems for transactions.
Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and shop operations effectively.
