Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Part-time Banquet Server and bring your enthusiasm and hospitality skills to create memorable dining experiences! In this lively role, you’ll be the friendly face that welcomes guests, takes orders, and ensures every visitor feels valued and satisfied. Your energy and attention to detail will help foster a vibrant atmosphere where guests want to return again and again. This position offers flexible hours perfect for those passionate about food service and eager to grow within the food industry.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS if available
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations
Maintain a clean, organized work environment in compliance with food safety regulations
Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Requirements

Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred, especially in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes
Experience in food industry roles such as serving, cashiering, or hospitality is highly desirable
Kitchen experience or familiarity with food preparation processes is a bonus
Good communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
