Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and commercially driven Home Fashion Product Developer to lead the development of innovative home textile products tailored to customer requirements and market trends. The ideal candidate will bridge design, sourcing, and sales to deliver products that meet quality, cost, and timeline expectations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Development

Develop new home textile products (bedding, cushions, throws, curtains, etc.)
Translate customer briefs into commercially viable product concepts
Create mood boards, design directions, and product samples

2. Trend & Market Research

Monitor global home fashion trends (colors, materials, patterns)
Analyze competitors and retail market requirements (especially US market)
Suggest seasonal collections and new product ideas

3. Customer Coordination

Work closely with sales and customers to understand product needs
Present product concepts and sampling options to clients
Handle custom product development for key accounts

4. Sampling & Execution

Coordinate with production and sampling teams
Ensure timely sample development and approvals
Follow up on revisions based on customer feedback

5. Sourcing & Material Development

Source fabrics, trims, and accessories
Work with suppliers to develop new materials and finishes
Ensure cost-effective product solutions

6. Costing & Commercial Viability

Work with costing team to meet target prices
Balance design, quality, and cost requirements

7. Quality & Production Support

Ensure product specifications are production-ready
Support bulk production with technical guidance if needed

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or related field
3–8 years experience in home textile or home fashion industry
Strong understanding of fabrics, construction, and finishes
Good sense of color, design, and trends
Experience working with international buyers (preferred)
Strong communication and presentation skills

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
