Job Overview

At louf, we are a modern Palestinian restaurant committed to creating extraordinary culinary experiences through innovative and artfully crafted dishes. We are seeking a skilled Food Runner/Busser who is passionate about elevated the guest experience and upholding our high standards of excellence.

We are currently looking for individuals with talent, passion, and most importantly an open mind to learn and grow. The Food Runner/Busser plays a vital role in creating a positive dining experience for our guests, supporting the front-of-house team, and upholding high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Job benefits

$21 per hour base wage
Shared pooled incentive based on hours worked

Responsibilities

Deliver prepared food promptly from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are maintained.
Clear and reset tables efficiently to prepare for new guests, maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
Assist servers with food and beverage delivery as needed, supporting overall guest satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including wiping down tables, chairs, and service stations.
Refill water glasses and assist with guest requests courteously and promptly.
Support kitchen staff with basic food handling or preparation tasks if required.
Follow all safety and sanitation policies to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow during busy periods.
Simple kitchen prep when the restaurant is slow.
Memorize all table numbers and seats.

Skills

Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred; willingness to learn is essential.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures is a plus.
Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar is advantageous but not mandatory.
Basic cleaning skills to maintain hygiene standards in dining areas.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a hospitality setting.
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
