Legal Assistant - Floater
Toronto, ON

Hybrid Work Model!

Our client, a top tier law firm located in downtown Toronto is hiring! They are seeking a Corporate or Real Estate Legal Assistant - Floater for its downtown Toronto office.

Duties include, but not limited to:

Coverage for Legal Assistants when out of the office
Supporting assigned lawyers, clerks or legal assistants with preparing, revising and proofreading legal documents
Time entry and client billing
Preparation and submission of new client business intake and conflicts checks
Schedule travel, appointments and meetings
Update attorneys' calendars and contact lists
Assist with LA overflow work

Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of 4 years of experience as a legal assistant in either a corporate or real estate practice. They must also be flexible, proactive, have excellent organizational and communication skills, be proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. The ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks based on business needs is essential.
