Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as a <PERSON>. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and presentation of our baked goods, while also providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with a particular focus on baking and cake decorating. If you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment and have a love for culinary arts, we want to hear from you!

Duties

Morning shift at 6 AM, baking all bake goods to set up for the opening shift.
Prepare various food items according to recipes and standards, such as sandwiches, and toast.
Package finished products for sale, ensuring quality and presentation are maintained
Assist in food production processes, including baking, cooking, and food handling
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area to adhere to food safety standards
Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines related to food handling

Requirements

Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry preparation
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Previous experience in the food industry or culinary settings is preferred
Excellent knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality presentation
Customer service skills that enhance the overall customer experience
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed in a dynamic kitchen environment
