Responsibilities

Perform all night audit procedures, including the verification, balancing, and reconciliation of daily financial transactions.
Conduct the end-of-day system close and generate required reports for hotel leadership and operational departments.
Ensure all guest accounts, room charges, payments, adjustments, and transactions are accurately posted and balanced.
Reconcile and balance cash receipts, credit card transactions, house accounts, city ledger accounts, and other financial records.
Review and verify guest registrations, room rates, packages, and billing instructions to ensure accuracy.
Prepare and distribute daily operational and financial reports to management and department heads.
Process guest check-ins and check-outs during overnight hours while maintaining Hyatt service standards.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns, ensuring a positive guest experience.
Monitor hotel security throughout the night, including guest access, room key issuance, and adherence to safety procedures.
Coordinate with other departments regarding guest requests, room status updates, maintenance issues, and special requirements.
Ensure all guest payments are secured and sufficient authorizations are maintained for in-house guests.
Maintain accurate records of overnight activities, incidents, guest requests, and operational issues for communication to the day teams.
Assist with wake-up calls, transportation arrangements, luggage storage, and other guest service requests as required.
Ensure all front office reports, audit worksheets, and supporting documentation are completed and filed accurately.
Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel facilities, services, room types, promotions, local attractions, and Hyatt brand standards.

Job Requirements

Must be available to work overnight shifts (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
Must be available to work weekends and statutory holidays.
Must currently reside in Canada with current legal working rights.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting when required.
Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on friendly communication and problem-solving
Knowledge of guest services standards within the hospitality industry to enhance guest experiences
Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining attention to detail and security protocols
Demonstrated ability to stay calm under pressure and respond promptly to guest needs or emergencies

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
